KAPOR CENTER The Kapor (pronounced KAY-por) Center aims to make the technology ecosystem and entrepreneurship more diverse and inclusive. They are particularly interested in positive social impacts for communities that have historically been on the periphery of access to opportunity, participation and influence in the United States.

The Kapor Center believes that when the community of tech leaders reflects the diversity of the United States, tech will play an integral role in closing gaps and disparities that exist in this country. Via proven and experimental methods from the for-profit and nonprofit fields, they work in partnership with a diverse set of stakeholders to maximize social impact.

National Science Foundation The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense..." NSF is vital because we support basic research and people to create knowledge that transforms the future.
